The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2025-26, a prestigious Science Talent Search for New India using Digital Devices, has officially opened student registrations. Organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with NCERT and NCSM, the programme aims to enhance scientific knowledge, promote Indian contributions in science, and cultivate a passion for excellence among students.
The initiative is targeted at students from classes VI to XI, encouraging them to explore the world of science, understand India’s scientific heritage, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The programme also seeks to identify young minds with scientific aptitude and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talent at the state and national levels.
Eligibility and Registration
Eligible students from classes VI to XI can register for the VVM 2025-26. The registration fee is ₹200 per student. Schools can register students in bulk, or individual students can register directly. The last date for registration is 30th September 2025, providing ample time for preparation and coordination.
Examination Structure
The VVM programme consists of two levels of examinations, conducted online with flexible login windows to accommodate students across different time zones.
Level-I Examination:
- Dates: Class VI & VII – 28th and 31st October 2025, Class VIII & IX – 29th October and 1st November 2025, Class X & XI – 30th October and 2nd November 2025.
- Time: 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM (90 minutes).
- Mock Tests: Available from 1st September 2025.
- Result Declaration: 7th November 2025.
Level-II Examination:
- Dates: 19th and 23rd November 2025 for all classes.
- Time: 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM (45 minutes).
- Result Declaration: 27th November 2025.
Both levels allow students to login only once, ensuring a fair and streamlined evaluation process.
State and National Camps
Following the examinations, state camps will be conducted on 21st & 28th December 2025 and 4th January 2026 (any one day, depending on the state schedule). Selected students from the state camps will be invited to a two-day National Camp, with dates and venue to be announced on 30th January 2026. These camps aim to provide hands-on science exposure, interaction with experts, and a platform to develop innovative ideas and projects.
