The APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has officially released the Round 2 seat allotment results for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2025 today, August 5. Candidates who applied for BTech admissions through UPTAC can now download their seat allotment result from the official portal
As per the UPTAC 2025 schedule, candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must confirm their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee and selecting either the freeze or float option on or before August 7, 2025. Those who choose the freeze option will lock their allocated seat, while those who float can continue to participate in further rounds for possible upgradation.
How to Check UPTAC Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2025:
- Visit the official portal
- Click on the “UPTAC 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result” link on the homepage.
- You will be redirected to the login page.
- Enter your JEE Main application number and password.
- Your seat allotment result will appear on the screen.
- Download and save a copy for future reference.
Seat allocation in Round 2 has been carried out based on the candidate’s rank in the JEE Main, their preferred choices, and availability of seats at participating institutes across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who are satisfied with their seat must report to the allotted college with original documents to complete the admission process.
The UPTAC counselling is a crucial step for engineering aspirants aiming to secure admission in AKTU-affiliated institutions. Conducted annually, the process admits students into BTech and other technical programs based on their JEE Main scores.
Looking ahead, Round 3 of the UPTAC 2025 counselling will begin on August 8, and the Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled to be declared on August 11. A total of seven rounds are planned for UPTAC 2025, with the counselling process set to conclude by September 3, 2025.
