The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the results of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examinations 2025. Candidates who appeared for the written exams conducted from June 20 to 22, 2025, can now check their results on the commission’s official portal.
According to the official notification, a total of 28 candidates from IES and 126 candidates from ISS have been shortlisted for the interview or personality test round. The roll numbers of the selected candidates have been published in a PDF document on the UPSC website.
However, the Commission has clarified that the candidature is provisional, subject to candidates meeting all eligibility criteria. Candidates must present original certificates as proof of age, educational qualifications, community status, and benchmark disability (if applicable) during the personality test.
In addition, selected candidates are required to update their details regarding educational qualification status (appearing/appeared), and upload documents proving qualification. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the interview round.
Candidates will also be given the opportunity to update other relevant information such as:
- Correspondence and permanent postal addresses
- Higher educational qualifications
- Achievements in various fields
- Employment details or service experience
- Information about any service allocated based on previous UPSC exams
UPSC has emphasized that the details submitted during this window will be considered final, and no requests for modifications via other modes will be entertained.
UPSC IES, ISS 2025 Interview Schedule:
The Commission will release the interview schedule for IES and ISS on its official website shortly. E-Summon letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates with complete details regarding the date and time of the personality test (PT). UPSC has strictly stated that no requests for rescheduling of interview dates will be accepted.
