The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has taken a significant step toward modernizing its recruitment process by launching the One-Time Registration (OTR) system, effective from July 31, 2025. This initiative aims to simplify and streamline the application process for thousands of aspirants applying for upcoming police vacancies in the state.
The new system comes ahead of a major recruitment drive to fill over 28,000 posts, including Constables and Sub-Inspectors (SIs). With the OTR mechanism in place, candidates will no longer need to repeatedly input basic personal information for every recruitment cycle. This new method is modeled after the systems used by the UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).
The OTR system allows candidates to register once using a valid email ID and mobile number, which will then be used across all future recruitment exams conducted by UPPRPB. This not only saves time but also reduces errors and enhances transparency in the selection process.
To complete the registration, applicants can use documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence, or passport. However, it is crucial that candidates enter their personal details exactly as they appear on their Class 10 or 12 mark sheets, to ensure the registration remains valid and is accepted during the verification process.
How to Register for UP Police OTR 2025:
- Visit the official OTR portal of UPPRPB.
- Enter your email ID and mobile number to begin registration.
- Fill in personal details as per educational certificates.
- Upload supporting documents (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.).
- Save and submit the registration form.
In case of any issues during the registration process, candidates can contact the UPPRPB helpline at 1800 9110 005, which is available daily from 10 AM to 7 PM.
This initiative by UPPRPB is expected to make the police recruitment process more accessible, efficient, and transparent, benefiting lakhs of candidates across Uttar Pradesh. Aspirants are encouraged to complete their OTR well in advance to stay prepared for the upcoming recruitment notifications, for more details and register CLICK HERE
