As per the latest notification, school principals are responsible for registering regular high school and intermediate students through the official UPMSP portal. This step marks the beginning of the formal exam process for the academic session 2025–26.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

  • The last date for schools to complete student registration and collect exam fees is August 5, 2025.
  • The consolidated exam fee collected from all students must be deposited into the treasury by August 10, 2025.
  • Schools must upload student academic details and fee-related information on the official portal by August 16, 2025.
  • If any school fails to pay the fee by August 10, they can still make the payment with a late fee of ₹100 per student, with the final deadline remaining August 16, 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF SCHOOLS

School principals play a vital role in ensuring smooth registration. They must:

  • Register each student’s details accurately on the online platform.
  • Collect exam fees from regular students within the given time frame.
  • Ensure timely deposit of the collected fees into the designated treasury.
  • Upload both the fee details and academic records of students, including subject choices and personal information.

To prevent delays and ensure the timely completion of administrative processes, UPMSP has introduced a late fee policy. Any delay in depositing the examination fee after August 10 will incur an additional ₹100 per student. Despite the late fee option, schools are encouraged to meet the initial deadlines to avoid last-minute issues.
