Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a new feature that allows the residents to verify their mobile numbers and email IDs that is seeded with their Aadhaar.
As in some of the instances the residents may not be aware or sure about which of their mobile numbers is seeded to their Aadhaar.
As in such cases the residents get worried that Aadhaar OTP might be sent to some other mobile number.
Now with this facility from UIDAI to Verify email / mobile Number the residents can check Easily the email / mobile number seeded with Aadhar, this feature gives confirmation to resident that email / mobile number under their knowledge is only seeded to respective Aadhaar.
The feature also notifies the resident in case a particular mobile number is not linked, and informs resident to take necessary steps to update the mobile number,
In case mobile number seeded with Aadhar is already verified the residents will see a message displayed on their screen like the mobile number you have entered is already verified with our recordsÂ
