The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced the Digital Connectivity Rating (DCR) Logo Design Competition, inviting creative minds from across the country to design the official logo for India’s pioneering Digital Connectivity Rating Framework. The competition is open to individuals aged 15 years and above, with the entry window open until November 5, 2025.
This initiative marks a major step in engaging citizens in shaping the visual identity of India’s first rating system that measures the digital connectivity readiness of buildings and infrastructure — an innovative framework designed to make India’s spaces truly “Digital-Ready.”
About the Digital Connectivity Rating (DCR) Framework
The DCR Framework, introduced under the Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024, is a first-of-its-kind system developed by TRAI to assess how prepared a building or property is to support high-quality digital connectivity.
This includes parameters such as mobile network coverage, broadband infrastructure, and service performance. Property owners and managers can apply for digital connectivity certification through TRAI-registered Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs).
The DCR initiative aims to bring transparency, accountability, and innovation to India’s indoor connectivity ecosystem, empowering consumers and builders to make informed decisions about digital infrastructure.
Objective of the Logo Design Competition
The TRAI DCR Logo Design Competition 2025 aims to create a distinct visual identity for this landmark framework. The official logo will symbolize trust, accessibility, and technological readiness, reflecting the nation’s commitment to robust digital infrastructure.
The winning design will be used across all DCR certifications, platforms, communication materials, and outreach campaigns, giving the designer a chance to contribute to a project of national significance.
