Telangana Intermediate Admissions 2025 Extended: Last Date Now August 31

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has officially announced an extension for Intermediate admissions 2025. The last date to apply for admission to general and vocational courses in junior colleges has now been extended from August 20 to August 31, 2025. This move provides students with additional time to secure seats in their preferred colleges and streams.

For Telangana Intermediate admissions 2025, students who have successfully completed Class 10 are eligible to apply directly to the college of their choice. Admission is primarily based on the marks obtained in Class 10, with each institution releasing its cut-off criteria for different streams and courses. This ensures a transparent selection process and allows students to make informed decisions regarding their academic future.

A total of 3,225 colleges in Telangana offer two-year Intermediate courses, including public, private, co-operative, and residential institutions. These colleges have been instructed to admit students up to the revised deadline of August 31, 2025, ensuring that all eligible students have the opportunity to pursue higher education. Among these institutions are junior colleges for minorities, Backward Classes (BC) welfare programs, and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) colleges, which will also follow the revised admission schedule.

Telangana Intermediate admissions cover both general and vocational streams. In the general category, students can choose from popular options such as MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry), and MEC (Mathematics, Economics, Commerce). These streams cater to students aiming for careers in engineering, medical sciences, commerce, and other academic fields.

On the other hand, vocational courses are designed to equip students with professional skills for specific industries. Some of the most sought-after vocational courses include digital marketing, graphic design, accountancy, and pharmaceutical assistantship. These courses provide practical knowledge and industry-ready skills, enabling students to either pursue higher education or start their careers immediately after completion.
