TNTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Paper-I (for teaching classes I to V): Candidates must have passed the 12th standard and hold a Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in the final year).
- Paper-II (for teaching classes VI to VIII): Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education (passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education).
Age Limit:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of July 1, 2025. There is no upper age limit, providing opportunities for candidates of all ages who meet the educational requirements.
Application Fee:
The examination fee is ₹600 per application for all candidates. However, applicants belonging to the SC, SCA, ST, and Differently Abled categories will pay a reduced fee of ₹300 per application. The payment must be made online through the Payment Gateway using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
