The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially revised the correction window dates for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. As per the latest notice available on the SSC’s official website, the correction window — originally scheduled to open from July 29 to July 31, 2025 — has now been postponed.
Candidates who have successfully submitted their online applications along with the required fee will now be able to make necessary changes to their application forms during the revised correction window, which will be open from August 4 to August 6, 2025. This change offers additional time and flexibility to applicants who need to make amendments or rectify errors in their submitted forms.
According to the SSC, a correction charge of ₹200 will be applicable for candidates making changes in their application for the first time. If a candidate wishes to make corrections and re-submit the modified application for a second time, they will be required to pay ₹500. These correction charges are mandatory for all candidates, regardless of their gender or category (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.).
Payments for correction charges can be made online only through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and RuPay. No offline payment methods will be accepted.
The SSC has urged candidates to make corrections carefully during the given timeframe as no further correction window will be provided. Applicants are also advised to go through the official notification thoroughly to ensure they adhere to all updated guidelines and procedures.
This examination offers numerous job opportunities for candidates seeking government positions under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), among others. As such, the correction window plays a crucial role in ensuring that all application details are accurate and complete.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to regularly check the official SSC website (ssc.nic.in) for updates regarding the examination schedule, admit card release, and any other important notifications.
