The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the City Intimation Slip for the Combined Hindi Translators (CHT) Examination 2025 today, August 5. Registered candidates can now check their allotted exam city by logging into the official portal. This slip provides essential pre-exam information, allowing candidates to plan their travel and logistics ahead of the scheduled exam date.
The SSC CHT 2025 exam is set to be conducted on August 12, 2025, for 437 vacancies across various posts including Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Senior Translator. The city intimation slip is not an admit card but merely a pre-exam notification indicating the candidate’s examination centre city.
Candidates who have opted to appear with the help of a scribe are required to register and submit the details of their scribe on the Commission’s portal by August 8, 2025. This step can only be completed after viewing the city intimation slip.
As per SSC’s official notification, the SSC CHT Admit Card 2025 and Scribe Entry Pass will be made available for download approximately 2 to 3 days before the examination. These documents can be accessed through the designated login module on the SSC website. Candidates are strongly advised to download and retain a copy of their admit card for personal records.
Importantly, the original Admission Certificate will be retained by the Commission at the exam centre. “Candidates may note that during the examination, their Admission Certificate will be retained by the Commission. Accordingly, the candidates are advised to obtain and keep a copy of their Admission Certificate for future reference,” the notice added.
In related news, SSC clarified that the Selection Post Phase 13 exam will not be cancelled, despite some candidates facing technical or administrative issues. Chairman S Gopalakrishnan confirmed that the Commission is reviewing centre-wise data and will consider a re-examination for affected candidates who did not receive a fair opportunity.
