ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible, applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade. In accordance with UGC norms, a 5% relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories.
Additionally, candidates who are appearing in their final semester of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria by 31st July 2025. A mandatory requirement is the possession of a valid UGC or UGC-CSIR NET qualification certificate.
APPLICATION PROCESS AND FEE
Interested candidates must submit their applications online. The application fee is Rs. 500 (non-refundable), payable through the university’s designated payment portal. Once the online application is submitted, candidates are required to print the application form and send or drop it along with the following documents:
- Self-attested copies of mark sheets and relevant certificates
- A brief synopsis of the proposed research work (not exceeding 500 words)
- Copy of the application fee payment receipt
