Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (B.Sc., B.Com, or any recognized equivalent).
• Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the respective trade.
• Trade Apprentice (ITI): ITI Certificate in relevant trade (one or two-year duration) approved by NCVT/SCVT.
• Non-technical Trade Apprentices: 10th/12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

Age Limit (as on 06-11-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years
• Candidates must have been born between 06.11.2001 and 06.11.2007.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates)

Stipend (Salary During Apprenticeship)

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300/- per month
• Diploma Apprentice (3 years): ₹10,900/- per month
• Trade Apprentice (10th/12th pass): ₹8,200/- per month
• Trade Apprentice (ITI 1-year course): ₹9,600/- per month
• Trade Apprentice (ITI 2-year course): ₹10,560/- per month

The stipend is paid monthly as per the Apprenticeship Rules of ONGC.
