Odisha Government school students studying in Class 8 are eligible to appear for the Odisha National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023, For the year 2023 the Odisha National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 for 3,314 scholarships is scheduled to be held on 5th November 2023, Admit card to be released on 10th October 2023
Candidates belonging to general category who have secured 55% marks while those from reserved category who have got 50% in Class 7 examination, Pursuing class 8 in current academic year in Odisha Government Schools are eligible to apply for National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 till 31st August 2023
Annual family income should not exceed Rs 3.5 Lakh in the financial year 2023-24. Candidates studying in residential schools like Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and residential schools under ST and SC development department, KGBV are not eligible to apply
The Odisha National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 examination consist of two papers – Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) – carrying 90 marks each.
Students appearing for the NMMS 2023 will get 90 minutes to attempt each paper. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking. To qualify the National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 exam, the general category students to get 40% and those from reserved category to secure 32% marks in both papers, the Odisha National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 selected students will get a scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month till Class 12, for more details and register CLICK HERE
