The online registrations for the North East State Level Eligibility Test 2025 (Assam SLET 2025) has been started by the SLET Commission, Assam, This Test is conducted in all the States of the North East including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura
Candidates who have secured atleast 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this test, While the candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the final qualifying Master degree (final year) examination and result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examination have been delayed may also apply for this Test
There is no upper age limit for eligibility for applying for this Test. Candidates who qualify in the Test are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor within the jurisdiction of the Member-States of this SLET Commission, The Test will consist of two papers. All the two papers will have only objective type questions
Paper I shall be of general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate and the Paper II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject, There will be no negative marking.
Applications can be submitted from 1st December to 15th December 2024, Examination is scheduled to be held on 23rd March 2024, Candidates belonging to General category to pay Rs 1,200 application fees, while the candidates belonging to reserved categories to pay Rs 1000, Fees to be paid through Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card / UPI / Wallet
