Eligibility Criteria for NIHFW Ph.D. Admission 2025

- Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree in relevant fields such as MBBS, MD, MDS, MSc (Nursing), M.Phil, M.Pharma, MPH, MBA, Economics/Health Economics, Epidemiology, Sociology, Biotechnology, AYUSH systems, and allied disciplines.
- Marks Requirement: Minimum 55% aggregate in Master’s degree (General category). For candidates with a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree, at least 75% aggregate is required. Relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD/EWS categories.
- Entrance Qualification: Candidates must have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, ICMR, AYUSH, or DBT examinations (results declared after June 2024). A valid JRF certificate is mandatory at the time of verification.
- Final Year Candidates: Those awaiting results may apply, but eligibility must be met before admission confirmation.
Selection Process
