NID MDes Admissions 2025: Round 2 seat allotment Registrations Open

The National Institute of Design (NID) has officially begun the Round 2 seat allotment process for its Master of Design (MDes) programmes for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates who appeared for the admission process can now check their seat allotment results by logging in with their registered email ID and date of birth on the official NID admissions portal.

To confirm the allotted seat, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable token fee and upload scanned copies of the original documents by 2^nd June 2025. The confirmation is mandatory to retain the allotted seat.

As per the official announcement, candidates from the General, General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Class – Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories must pay Rs 30,000 as a non-refundable token fee. In contrast, overseas candidates are required to deposit Rs 75,000 to confirm their seats.

Failure to complete the payment and document upload process by the deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
