The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the revised schedule for Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2025, bringing some relief to candidates by extending key deadlines. Aspirants seeking admission to undergraduate medical courses through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 are advised to review the updated dates on the official MCC portal
According to the revised timeline, the registration and payment window for Round 1 counselling has been extended until July 31, 2025. This extension provides more time for candidates who may have faced delays or technical difficulties in completing their initial application process.
Similarly, the choice filling facility, where candidates select their preferred medical and dental colleges, has also been extended till July 31, 2025. To finalise their selections, candidates must lock their choices between 4:00 PM and 11:55 PM on July 31. Once locked, these choices will be considered final for the seat allotment process.
The seat allotment processing for Round 1 will take place from August 1 to August 2, 2025, during which the MCC will evaluate candidates’ NEET scores, preferences, and reservation criteria to allocate seats. The seat allotment result will be declared between August 3 and August 4, 2025. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official portal for updates and login to download their allotment letters once results are announced.
Those who are allotted seats in Round 1 will be required to report to their respective allotted colleges between August 4 and August 8, 2025. At the time of reporting, candidates must carry original documents including NEET 2025 scorecard, allotment letter, identity proof, academic certificates, category certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.
