National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students 2024 – 25 Applications Open

Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India has invited online applications for the National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students for the year 2024 – 25

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious Scheduled Tribe students to enable them to pursue higher education after completing post-graduate degree

Fellowship under the Scheme are for pursuing M.Phil, Ph.D by ST students who have passed the Post Graduation / Master Degree examination

ELIGIBLITY

Students who have passed Post Graduation (PG) pursuing M.Phil, Ph.D , have scored minimum 55% marks at the final examination/grading at PG level, There is no income criteria for eligibility in respect of this scholarship. Candidate Maximum age is 36 years, as on first day of July of the relevant year of the award of scholarship

BENEFIT

The selected students receive monthly scholarship of Rs 31,000 for M.Phil and Ph.D students get Rs.31000 for first two years and Rs.35000 for remaining 3 years

DOCUMENTS

The documents required to apply are Latest coloured passport size photograph, ST/PVTG certificate issued by the competent authority, 10th /Matriculation/equivalent certificate in support of date of birth, Post-Graduation mark sheet, Admission/Joining certificate of M.Phil/Ph.D / Integrated M.Phil+Ph.D from the University concerned.
