The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has officially announced the results for the Class 10 (HSLC) and Class 12 (HSSLC) board examinations 2025. Thousands of students across the state can now access their results on the official NBSE website using their roll numbers and other required credentials.
The HSLC exams were conducted from 12th to 24th February 2025, and the HSSLC exams took place between 11th February to 7th March 2025. Around 25,000 students appeared for the examinations across various centers in Nagaland. The board ensured a smooth and secure examination process in a single shift format each day.
PASS PERCENTAGE AND PERFORMANCE TRENDS
The overall pass percentage for Class 10 (HSLC) this year stands at 71.53%, while the Class 12 (HSSLC) pass percentage recorded is 78.91%. The pass rates have shown a slight improvement compared to the previous year, reflecting better performance and preparation among students.
District-wise data indicates that Kohima and Dimapur continued their streak of high-performing regions, while several rural districts showed encouraging improvement in student outcomes.
Retotaling, Photocopy, and Supplementary Exam Details
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for retotaling or request a photocopy of their answer scripts. Candidates who failed in one or two subjects are eligible to appear for the NBSE compartmental or improvement exams, for which the board will soon announce the dates and application process.

The NBSE has urged students to download their digital marksheets from the official portal. Original marksheets and certificates will be distributed to schools shortly.
