The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced that it will conduct regional language mentoring sessions for students participating in the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025. The two-day event, scheduled for October 24 and 25, 2025, aims to guide young innovators in ideation and prototyping, helping them refine their creative solutions into practical, impactful projects.
According to the ministry’s post on X (formerly Twitter), “Regional Language Mentoring Sessions are being organised to guide students on ideation and prototyping, helping young innovators refine their ideas and bring them closer to reality.” The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to fostering grassroots innovation and multilingual inclusivity in the nation’s educational ecosystem.
Objective of the Mentoring Sessions
The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 mentoring sessions have been designed to provide expert guidance and mentorship to student teams that participated in the national buildathon. Through these sessions, the MoE seeks to nurture the innovation potential of students by offering insights into design thinking, prototype development, and real-world problem solving.
The sessions will be conducted in regional languages to ensure that students from diverse linguistic backgrounds can understand the concepts clearly and participate effectively. The ministry has urged students to mark the dates and participate actively to make the most of this unique learning opportunity.
Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 Mentoring Schedule
The Ministry of Education has released the detailed schedule for the regional language mentoring sessions as follows:

About Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025
The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 was inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on October 13, 2025, in New Delhi. The national event witnessed participation from over 1 crore students and more than 3 lakh schools across India, making it one of the largest student innovation challenges in the country.
During the two-hour live challenge, students from Classes 6 to 12 formed teams of three to five members to ideate and build prototypes under four key themes — Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddhi (Prosperity).
The competition aims to ignite creativity among young minds while aligning their innovations with the vision of a developed India (Viksit Bharat).
Prize Pool and Recognition
The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 carries a total prize pool of ₹1 crore, which will be distributed among 10 national-level, 100 state-level, and 1,000 district-level winners. The initiative is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), and the NITI Aayog.
By organizing these regional language mentoring sessions, the Ministry of Education is not only promoting innovation but also ensuring inclusive participation by breaking linguistic barriers.
