In a significant milestone for medical aspirants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment result for the first round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. The result pertains to admissions under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in medical and dental colleges across the country. Among the most notable highlights, the top 48 candidates have successfully secured coveted MBBS seats at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, through their NEET UG 2025 ranks.
According to the MCC, an overwhelming 131 out of 132 MBBS seats at AIIMS Delhi have already been filled in the first round itself. The provisional allotment list contains crucial details such as the NEET UG 2025 rank, allotted quota, allotted institute, course, allotted category, and candidate category for each selected aspirant. This year’s result once again underscores the high competition for premier medical institutes, with AIIMS Delhi continuing to be the top choice among the country’s brightest medical students.
The MCC has also invited candidates to report any discrepancies in the provisional allotment list. Allotted candidates must email their concerns to mccresultquery@gmail.com by 11 AM on August 13, 2025. The committee clarified that this provisional result is only indicative and may be subject to changes before the final confirmation. Importantly, candidates cannot claim legal rights over their allotted seats at this stage, and the provisional result cannot be challenged in any court of law.

This year’s NEET UG counselling process has seen heightened anticipation, given the intense competition and the limited number of AIQ seats available at top institutes. The high cut-off scores for AIIMS Delhi reflect not just the academic brilliance of the selected candidates, but also the immense pressure that medical aspirants face in securing top ranks.
The next step for provisionally allotted candidates will be to complete the document verification and reporting process at their respective allotted institutes as per MCC’s official schedule. Those who do not wish to accept their allotted seats may choose to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling.
With the conclusion of Round 1, MCC will soon open the window for Round 2 counselling, providing another opportunity for candidates to upgrade or secure their desired seats.
For now, the spotlight remains firmly on the top 48 candidates who have earned their place at AIIMS Delhi, marking the beginning of what promises to be a remarkable journey in the field of medicine, for more details and check results CLICK HERE
