Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kerala has officially opened the admission process for its prestigious Five-Year Integrated BBA LLB (Hons.) Programme for the academic year 2025–26, offered through the School of Indian Legal Thought (SILT). Aspiring candidates can submit their online applications until 20th May 2025, with admissions being granted based on performance in the CAT-MGU 2025 Entrance Test.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The programme offers a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree integrated into a five-year curriculum. The total intake capacity is 50 seats. This course is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in both business administration and legal education, creating professionals who are well-prepared for careers in corporate law, litigation, legal consultancy, and public service.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates seeking admission must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University.
- Minimum aggregate marks required:
- General Category: 45%
- OBC Category: 42%
- SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities: 40%
Students awaiting their final 10+2 results are also eligible to apply; however, they must submit their qualifying certificates before the admission deadline to confirm their eligibility.
ADMISSION PROCESS AND IMPORTANT DATES
The Common Admission Test of Mahatma Gandhi University (CAT-MGU 2025) will serve as the entrance gateway. The examination is scheduled for 30th and 31st May 2025 and will be held in five key locations across Kerala: Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Kannur
Applicants can choose up to three examination centres in order of preference. However, the final allotment of centres is at the discretion of the University.
