Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University has announced admissions for its M.Ed. (Special Education) distance learning program for the academic session 2025–2028. This 2.5-year program is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and is designed to cater to individuals who aspire to specialize in the field of special education through flexible, distance-based learning.
The program aims to prepare professionals capable of working effectively with children having special educational needs, in line with inclusive education frameworks and RCI regulations. It provides advanced knowledge and practical skills in various areas of special education such as Visual Impairment (VI), Hearing Impairment (HI), Intellectual Disability (ID), and Learning Disability (LD).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
(a) Graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks along with a B.Ed. (Special Education) degree or B.Ed. (General) plus an RCI-approved one-year Diploma in Special Education in VI, HI, ID, or LD.
(b) Completion of D.Ed. (Special Education – VI/HI/LD) with 50% marks, and a graduation or post-graduation degree.
(c) Holders of a B.Ed. (Special Education – VI/HI/LD/ID) diploma or degree, recognized by RCI (academic year 2014–15 onwards).
(d) Candidates with B.El.Ed., D.El.Ed., B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed., or B.Com.-B.Ed. (4-year integrated courses).
(e) All candidates must hold a valid RCI registration certificate in addition to the above academic qualifications.

- Entrance Exam Date: 10 June 2025 (Tuesday) from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
