Voluntary Internship Program for Law Students

Applications are invited by the Law Commission of India from the LLB / LLM / Research students for Voluntary Internship Programme to assist the Law commission in its legal / research / law reform projects.

It is an opportunities from the Law Commission of India to law students for assisting the Law Commission in its legal research / law reform projects by holding a Summer (May-June), Winter (November-December) and Mid-Term Internship Programme

The Voluntary Internship Programme for Law students is open for students pursuing studies in Law from recognized University, Duration of the Voluntary Internship Programme for Law students internship programme will be 4 Weeks ordinarily, which may be extended on the intern’s request by the Competent Authority for a maximum period of 2 weeks, at any point of time, the maximum number of slots to be offered to these students shall not ordinarily exceed five 

These applications for the Voluntary Internship Programme for Law students may be sent either by post / courier or by hand to reach the Assistant Law Officer, Law Commission of India, Lok Nayak Bhavan, ‘B’ Wing, 2nd Floor, Khan Market, New Delhi -110003,

During the Voluntary Internship Programme Interns shall maintain absolute secrecy of all the facts and documents which come to their knowledge and the Interns are expected to maintain the decorum of Law Commission’s office

Interested and Eligible candidates can submit the applications by 1st April (in case of Summer programme) and by 1st October (in case of Winter programme). For Mid-Term Internship Programme, the application for the Voluntary Internship Programme should reach 30 days in advance
