The Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation (KMDC) has invited applications for the Loan Scheme for Overseas Education 2025, aimed at supporting minority students of Karnataka who aspire to pursue higher education in foreign universities. Objective of the Scheme
The KMDC Loan Scheme for Overseas Education 2025 is designed to provide financial assistance to students belonging to minority communities who wish to pursue graduate or post-graduate studies abroad. By offering loans on concessional terms, KMDC enables students to build strong academic foundations, enhance career prospects, and contribute to the state’s socio-economic development upon their return.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the KMDC Overseas Education Loan Scheme 2025, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- The student must be a resident of Karnataka State.
- The applicant should belong to a minority community (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, or Parsi).
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous academic year.
- Must have received a valid offer letter from a foreign university.
- Loans will be sanctioned only against mortgage of property (building/land) to the corporation. The value of the property must not be less than the loan amount requested.

- Copy of Aadhaar Card (residential proof)
- Caste/Minority Certificate issued by the competent authority
- Income Certificate from the competent authority
- SSLC Marks Card
- 12th Std/PU Marks Card
- SSLC Transfer Certificate
- Present Study Certificate
- College Fee Structure from the foreign institution
- Copy of Passport and Visa
- Sale deeds & Mother deed of mortgaged property
- Khata Extract, Khata Certificate, or Mutation documents
- Nil Encumbrance Certificate (Form No.15)
- Up-to-date Tax Paid Receipt
- Guidance Value Certificate from the appropriate authority
- Spot Inspection Report of property by District Manager
- Valuation Report by registered valuer
- Affidavit from Applicant
- Joint Affidavit from Beneficiary & Guarantor
- Promissory Note with D.P Note Delivery Letter
