KCET 2021 will be heldo n the 3rd week of April 2021 but due to COVID 19 Pandemic situation it may be delayed. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state level exam conducted on every year. This exam is conducted by KEA to offer admission into Engineering (B-Tech), Architecture, B-Pharm & other various professional courses. Qualifying in KCET exam is necessary in order to get seats in various private & government institutes. Admission for medical/ dental/Ayush courses will be done through NEET Scores. Whereas admission for architecture courses will be done through NATA or JEE main scores.

ELIGIBILITYÂ
For Engineering/Technology courses:
- Aspirants must have pursued 10+2/ equivalent exams from a recognized Board/University.
- Aspirants must have passed their 10+2/equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects and English as their language subject.
- Minimum 45% score for General category and 40% score for SC/ST candidates in Physics, Mathematics along with any one subject from these, Biology/Biotechnology/Electronics/Chemistry/Computer Science.
For B-Pharm course:
- Aspirants must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam, with PCB/PCM and English as language subject, from a recognized Board/University.
- Minimum 50% score for General category and 40% for SC/ST candidates for PCB group.

KCET OMR SHEET
Candidates will receive two OMR sheets, they have to keep one on the top of other and candidates should carry a copy of their answer sheet along with them.Â
The top sheet will be used for auto evaluation of answers. The bottom sheet above which a carbon paper will be placed is the candidate’s copy.
Candidates must use blue/ black inked ball pens only to fill up their OMR sheets just to create better impression on the bottom sheet caused by the top sheet.
If a candidate fails/forgets to mention the correct CET number and version code then their OMR sheet will not be evaluated for correction and disqualified from getting a rank.
There will be 60 rows corresponding to all 60 questions. Candidates are required to fill in only the correct circle for each question.
Scanner is highly sensitive and even the smallaccidental mark or residue made by pen will also be considered. Therefore candidates are advised not to put any stray pen marks on the OMR sheet.Â
Any circle once filled can’t be changed under any conditions. Using of whitener/ink eraser is prohibited.
Candidates must fill in the circle for answering a question. Tick/cross/dot/marking outside the circle/any other method for choosing the option will not be considered.
KCET 2021 ADMIT CARD
KCET admit card may be released on the 2ndweek of April. The KCET 2021 admit-card includes details of candidates such as Name, date and time of the entrance examination along with the complete address of the exam center. Candidates have to download and get a print out of the same which has to be carried on the day of exam for the purpose of verification.
KCET 2021 RESULT
KCET results will be declared after few days of exam. Candidates will be able to check their result online through the official website by logging in using their registration number and password. The result shall contain the subject wise as well as the total score obtained by candidates in KCET 2021. The marks obtained in the exam will be the basis for further admissions.
KCET COUNSELING 2021
The authorities will conduct the counseling process for KCET 2021 in online mode. The authorities require candidates to register online through the official website and save their choice of colleges and courses for participating in KCET counseling.
Only those candidates who crack the KCET 2021 and comply with the cutoff marks announced by the authorities will be eligible for participating in the counseling. The process shall include verification of documents by the authorities followed by allotment of seats accordingly.
