The application process for National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 has been started by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) 

As per the notification released the candidates who have scored a minimum of 55% marks in Class 7, Pursuing Class 8 in Government Schools, Annual parent income to be less than Rs 3.5 Lakh are eligible to apply, National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 provides financial assistance of Rs 12,000 to the selected students from Class 9 to 12, for 4 years, amounting to Rs 48,000

While the Students Studying in Class 8 in private schools and students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik schools are not eligible to apply for the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023

Interested and Eligible candidates can submit the application for the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 till 17th November 2023, National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 Examination is scheduled to be held on 17th December 2023

Examination to be conducted for 2 papers – Mental Ability Test (MAT) / Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), Question Paper to consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Exam to be conducted for 180 Marks (90 Marks for Each Subject), Students belonging to General to Score 40% and Reserved Category to Score 32% to be eligible to receive National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023

To get a Scholarship in Class 9, the student must score at least 55% mark (5% relaxation for reserved categories) in the class 8 examination, the Students must pass Class 9 with at least 55% mark (5% relaxation for reserved categories) to get a scholarship in Class 10. The student must secure 60% marks in Class 10 (5% relaxation for reserved categories) to get a scholarship in Class 11. Similarly, the student pass Class 11 to get the scholarship in Class 12,
