The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill Agniveer Vayu Intake (01/2026) posts under Agnipath Scheme for Unmarried Indian Male & Female Candidates in Indian Air Force, Only unmarried candidates (male & female) are eligible for enrolment as Agniveervayu and they shall undertake not to marry during the defined engagement period of 4 years, only unmarried Agniveervayu are eligible for selection in regular cadre as Airman.
Female candidates additionally shall be required to undertake not to get pregnant during the engagement period of 4 years, Selection to be done on the basis of Written Test, Physical Fitness Test and Medical Examination, For Male Candidates height is 152.5 cms; For female Candidates 152 cms for candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cms will be accepted, For Male Candidates Minimum chest: 77 cms and the chest expansion should be atleast 05 cms, For Female Candidates: chest wall should be well proportioned, Weight to be Proportionate to height and age
