The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has announced the third edition of its flagship residential programme — PRAYAS 3.0 (Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Students). This one-month initiative is tailored for budding engineers and technophiles eager to gain in-depth, hands-on experience in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Launched in 2022, PRAYAS has rapidly gained recognition for its immersive learning model and high-quality content delivered by IIT Mandi’s esteemed faculty. The third edition builds upon the success of its predecessors by offering an upgraded curriculum that fosters innovation, creativity, and technical skill development among participants.
The programme includes 5-6 hours of intensive daily sessions led by experienced IIT Mandi faculty. Participants will engage in a variety of interactive activities, including case-based learning, peer discussions, assignments, quizzes, and a guided capstone project. The capstone project encourages participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems, preparing them for dynamic careers in the tech industry.
On successful completion of PRAYAS 3.0, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from IIT Mandi. Additionally, they will be eligible for career support services such as job placement assistance, resume building, interview preparation, and job search guidance. According to past data, over 85% of previous PRAYAS learners have experienced measurable career growth post-programme.
The programme is open to undergraduates, graduates, postgraduates, and diploma holders in engineering disciplines. Accommodation and meals for the duration of the programme will be provided at the IIT Mandi hostel, ensuring a comfortable and focused learning environment.
