Online registrations are invited for the IGBC Green Your School Programme 2023, It is an annual program open to schools across India, through this programme the schools are encouraged to come up with sustainable ideas, which can improve and convert the existing school into an green school that helps reduce carbon footprint.
IGBC Green Your School Programme 2023 is launched with objective to instill the eco-sensitivity behavior amongst the children in their daily lifestyle, enable students to spread awareness about environmental education among peer group and the community, Â launch green school buildings possible along with the support of industry and instill sense of Green in Young Minds
Students of Government and private schools with standards 8th to 10th from India can participate in the IGBC Green Your School Programme 2023. Top three schools will receive trophy and Grant amount of Rs 4 Lakh and top 5 schools to get certificate and Grant amount of Rs 1.5 Lakh
3 students & 1 teacher shall form a team from each school, the schools can weave their ideas around Monitoring the quality of air and drinking water, Improving energy efficiency, Increased daylight & ventilation, Appropriate waste management disposal /practices, Functional and clean toilets, Hygiene management, Well-being related to body & mind, Last date to register is 30th July 2023, for more details and register CLICK HERE
