STEPS TO APPLY FOR IELTS 2021
The British Council India conducts IELTS conducts test at 38 locations across the country. Aspirants can register online from the official website of authority.
Step 1 : Visit official website and check for the closet IELTS center and look for test dates to find two choices that is convenience to you.
Step 2 : Take a printout of IELTS 2021 Application Form. Please make sure that you have a valid postal address and used the same name as specified in your passport. Attach two passport size photographs as per the specification.
Step 3 : Take your IELTS application into your scheduled test center with applicable fee.
Step 4 : Once you have registered successfully, the exam center will confirm your IELTS test date 2021, time and test center.
EXAM PATTERN
The exam pattern for IELTS 2021 exam consists of 4 sections in the Academic IELTS Test. Total time duration allotted to complete your exam is 2 hours 45 min (Depending upon exam center speaking test may conduct up to 7 days before or after the exam date).

IELTS 2021 SYLLABUS
The test consists of 4 modules which are Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.
In Reading modules, there are 3-4 passages of 700 words each, where students have to answer questions about main ideas, details, vocabulary, rhetorical purpose and overall ideas.
Listening section includes 6 passages of 3-4 minutes in length. In this module, there are passages that include two student conversations and four academic lectures or discussions. Each conversation is heard only once. Each conversation will be associated with five questions, whereas each lecture with six. Questions in this section will be asked to determine the main ideas, important details, speaker purpose and attitude.
Speaking: – Speaking section includes six tasks: two independent tasks and four independent tasks. In independent tasks, candidate has to answer opinion questions on familiar tasks. Candidates are judged on their ability to speak spontaneously and clearly.
IELTS 2021ADMIT CARD
No admit card will be given to the candidates earlier, rather, intimation about the exam will be sent on the registered email id. The candidates will have to carry their passport (in original and in photocopy) to the test center. The candidates will get their admit card at the exam center itself.
IELTS EXAM RESULTS
Once you finish off your test then you will get your results after 13 days in the form of a test report. You can also get your result through online or you can also get a preview by SMS alert.
The results will be posted to you by test center only. Check with your center if you can collect the results in person.Keep the test report form safe with you because you can’t get any replacements from authorities. The test center will send your results to 5 recognizing organizations free of charge, if you need.
