The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the ICAI CA January Exam 2025 datesheet for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses. Candidates preparing for the upcoming Chartered Accountancy examinations can now check the detailed exam schedule on the official ICAI website. The datesheet also includes the schedule for the International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination.
ICAI CA Final Exam January 2025 Schedule
According to the ICAI notification, the CA Final Examination will be conducted in two groups:
- Group 1: January 5, 7, and 9, 2025
- Group 2: January 11, 13, and 16, 2025
Paper 6 of the CA Final Examination will be of 4 hours duration, while the rest of the papers will follow the standard 3-hour format.
ICAI CA Intermediate Exam January 2025 Schedule
The CA Intermediate Examination will also be held in two groups:
- Group 1: January 6, 8, and 10, 2025
- Group 2: January 12, 15, and 17, 2025
All Intermediate exams will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
ICAI CA Foundation Exam January 2025 Schedule
The CA Foundation Examination will be conducted on four days in January:
- Dates: January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2025
Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination will be of 2 hours duration, while Papers 1 and 2 will follow the standard 3-hour pattern.
ICAI International Taxation and IRM Exam January 2025
Alongside the main CA exams, ICAI has also announced schedules for other specialized exams:
- International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT-AT): January 13 and 16, 2025 (4 hours each)
- Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Exam: January 9, 11, 13, and 16, 2025
Important Instructions and Holidays
All ICAI exams will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm, except for certain papers with extended duration (till 6 pm). Notably, no examination will be held on January 14, 2025 (Wednesday) on account of Makar Sankranti, Magha Bihu, and Pongal festivals across India.
ICAI CA January 2025 Exam Registration Dates
The registration process for ICAI CA January 2025 exams will begin on November 3, 2025, and the last date for submission of online application forms is November 16, 2025. Candidates can also submit their forms with a late fee until November 19, 2025.
Candidates appearing for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations will be allowed to choose either English or Hindi medium for answering their papers.
