IBPS Releases PET Admit Card 2025 for Probationary Officers Recruitment

IBPS Releases PET Admit Card 2025 for Probationary Officers Recruitment

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued the Pre-Examination Training (PET) admit cards for the Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment 2025 on Monday, August 11, 2025. Candidates who have applied for the PET can now download their admit cards from the official IBPS portal. The admit cards will remain available for download until August 16, 2025.

The PET is aimed at providing guidance and practice to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Minority Communities who have opted for this facility during the registration process. For the 2025 cycle, the Pre-Examination Training will be conducted online, allowing candidates to participate from their own location using internet-enabled devices.

IBPS has clarified that attending the PET does not guarantee selection for any of the participating banks. The PET is purely a preparatory initiative to help eligible candidates become familiar with the examination pattern and improve their chances in the competitive selection process.

Recruitment Process

Following the PET, IBPS will conduct the Preliminary Examination to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. The mains will then be followed by an interview round to finalize the selection. Through this recruitment drive, IBPS aims to fill 5,208 vacancies for the position of Probationary Officer (PO) across various participating banks in India.

The recruitment process is part of the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees (CRP-PO/MT-XV), which is held annually to select candidates for multiple nationalized banks.
