Griffith University has officially opened applications for the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2025–26, an initiative designed to reward outstanding international students commencing in undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree programs. AWARD DETAILS AND VALUE
The Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for the entire duration of the recipient’s degree. The award remains valid for the whole study period, provided the student continues to meet the scholarship’s ongoing eligibility requirements.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of any country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Be a new, commencing student who has received an official offer to study at Griffith University by the scholarship application closing date.
- Have achieved a minimum GPA of 6.0 or above (on a 7-point scale) or an equivalent level of academic achievement in previous studies.
- Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for their chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student starting in either 2025 or 2026.
APPLICATION PROCESS AND KEY DEADLINES
Eligible students must secure both their program offer and the scholarship by the stated deadline. Failure to accept the scholarship according to the instructions in the official Scholarship Letter will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship offer.
After commencing studies at Griffith, the 50% scholarship will be applied to tuition costs before the census date of each trimester, contingent upon the student’s continued academic and enrolment standing. Students are responsible for paying the remaining balance of tuition fees by the census date each trimester.
