Programmes Offered

GIM offers a diverse range of AICTE-approved postgraduate management programmes designed to meet the demands of the evolving global business environment. The programmes available for the 2026–28 academic cycle include:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
  • PGDM in Healthcare Management (HCM)
  • PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA)
  • PGDM in Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (BIFS)
  • International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA)

As per the institute’s announcement, the seat distribution for each programme is as follows:

  • PGDM – 300 seats
  • PGDM (HCM) – 120 seats
  • PGDM (BDA) – 180 seats
  • PGDM (BIFS) – 120 seats
  • International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) – 30 seats

The IDA programme is a unique dual-degree course that combines GIM’s PGDM in Big Data Analytics with an MSc in Analytics from an international partner university, offering students a global academic experience.

GIM Admission 2026: Important Dates

GIM has introduced multiple application rounds to allow candidates to apply at different stages. The application deadlines are as follows:

  • First Mover Round: October 23, 2025
  • Early Bird Round: November 27, 2025

  • Achiever Round: December 4, 2025
  • CAT 2025 Score Submission Deadline: December 23, 2025
  • Final Application Deadline: January 2, 2026

The GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for PGDM-BDA and IDA applicants will be conducted on February 1, 2026.

The BITSDAT 2026 computer-based test results will be announced on April 16, 2026, followed by interviews and final selection rounds.

Eligibility Criteria for GIM Admissions 2026

Candidates applying to GIM’s PGDM programmes must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Final-year students completing their degree by June 2026 are eligible, provided they have scored at least 50% in their latest exams.
  • Must possess a valid score in CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or GMAT (scores from January 1, 2024, to January 15, 2026).
  • Applicants for PGDM-BDA and IDA must take the GAAT 2026.

For the International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA), candidates must also:

  • Submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP).
  • Provide valid scores in one of the following English proficiency tests:
    • TOEFL iBT
    • IELTS
    • Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)
    • Cambridge Advanced (CAE)
    • Cambridge Business English (BEC)

Selection and Admission Process

GIM follows a holistic and merit-based selection process, evaluating applicants on academic performance, entrance exam scores, Statement of Purpose, and personal interview. The final admission list will be prepared after considering the overall profile and performance of each candidate.
