The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for NMAT by GMAC 2025, giving MBA aspirants an additional opportunity to register for the exam. Eligible candidates can now apply for NMAT 2025 until October 18, 2025, through the official website — mba.com/nmat. Earlier, the last date to register was October 10, 2025.
This extension aims to accommodate more students aspiring for MBA admissions to leading management institutes in India and abroad that accept NMAT scores.
NMAT 2025 Registration and Exam Schedule
As per the revised schedule, candidates who successfully register can schedule their NMAT 2025 exam until October 25, 2025. During this scheduling window, applicants can choose their preferred date, time, and test mode — either at a designated test centre or through an online proctored test from home.
The NMAT 2025 exam delivery window will run from November 5 to December 19, 2025. Candidates wishing to reschedule their exam can do so until December 16, 2025, by paying the applicable rescheduling fee.
For those who plan to retake the exam, the NMAT retake registration and scheduling window will be open from November 6 to December 16, 2025. This flexibility allows candidates to improve their scores and increase their chances of admission to top B-Schools.
NMAT 2025 Application Fee
The NMAT by GMAC 2025 application fee is ₹3,000 + applicable taxes, covering the first attempt at the test. Candidates who wish to retake the exam will need to pay an additional ₹3,000 + applicable taxes per attempt.
Other associated fees include:
- Additional score reports: ₹400 per report (beyond the first five schools)
- Rescheduling fee: ₹1,200 + taxes
Payment can be made online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
NMAT 2025 Admit Card
The NMAT by GMAC 2025 admit card will be available for download seven days before the candidate’s scheduled exam date on the official portal. The admit card will include the candidate’s name, registration details, photograph, test date, time, and venue. Candidates must carry the admit card and valid ID proof on the day of the test.
NMAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The NMAT exam is a computer-adaptive test that assesses candidates in three sections:
- Language Skills – 36 questions
- Quantitative Skills – 36 questions
- Logical Reasoning – 36 questions
The total duration is 120 minutes, and candidates can choose the order of sections. Each question carries equal marks, with no negative marking — a feature that allows test-takers to attempt all questions without penalty.
