Qualified and eligible candidates shall be required to seek prior appointment from NBEMS to collect their FMGE Pass certificate by sending a request at the Communication Web portal (CWP) of NBEM

The Notification of Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2023 has been released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) also known as the Screening Test for Foreign Medical Graduate that been introduced through Screening Test Regulations, 2002.

As per the notification released the online applications for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2023 can be submitted online from 31st May to 20th June, Edit window to make corrections if any will be opened from 23rd to 26th June 2023, Exam admit card to be released on 25th July 2023, Exam is scheduled to be held on 30th July 2023, results to be announced by 30th August 2023

The last session of FMGE was conducted on 20th January 2023, Candidates are advised to ensure that no mandatory column in the online application form is left blank. A demo test shall be available for the benefit of candidates to familiarise themselves with the Computer Based Test format from 20th July 2023 onwards

Application forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn, Examination fees or Rs 7080 to be paid by the candidates applying for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), the FMGE examination consists of one paper, comprising of 300 multiple choice questions. Each question shall have 4 response options/distractors in English language only,

Candidates are required to select the correct appropriate answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question, The paper shall be delivered in two parts
to be taken in a single day with each part comprising of 150 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes. There shall be no negative marking,

A candidate shall be declared as having passed Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) only if they obtain a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination. There is no limit in number of attempts, However Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) being a qualifying examination, once a candidate qualifies the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) they shall not be eligible to take the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) again
