DR B R Ambedkar Open University P.hD admissions application process started

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into Ph.D. Programme in Hindi, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Mathematics, Physics, English, Chemistry and Environmental Science

Candidates with Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University, with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC / ST candidates) are eligible for admission into the Ph.D. Programme, The medium of instruction and examination for Ph.D., Entrance Test, course work and writing dissertation/thesis shall be English only

Admission into Ph.D Programme offered by the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University shall be based on the Entrance Test (Computer Based Test – CBT) followed by an interview. However the candidates who are qualified in UGC / CSIR / JRF / NET / SLET / SET/ M.Phil are exempted from appearing for the Entrance Test, The Ph.D. Entrance Test result is valid for one time only for the year, a candidate is allowed to appear for only one subject in the Entrance Test

Registrations for Ph.D. Entrance Test to be done online, and pay a registration fees of Rs 1500 (Rs.1000 for SC / ST / BC / PwD candidates), Last date to submit application without penal fees is 8th May 2023, While last date with penal fees is 12th May 2023, Entrance test is scheduled to be held on 20th May 2023
