DoE NEET Gap Year Scholarship 2025

The Department of Education (DoE) under the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) has launched the NEET Gap Year Scholarship 2025, offering 20 scholarships to help Tibetan students prepare for the upcoming NEET (MBBS) entrance exam. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on high-achieving Class XII graduates who wish to take a gap year and enroll in offline NEET coaching programs across India

ELIGIBILITY AND AWARD DETAILS

Scholarship Amount: ₹ 50,000 per student .

Number of Scholarships: 20, prioritizing fresh 2025 Class XII students.

Academic Performance: Minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) in Class XII, as per DoE rules

Tibetan Language Requirement: At least 33 marks in Tibetan or passing the Tibetan Language Proficiency Test (TLPT)

Coaching Format: Only students enrolled in offline coaching are eligible; online coaching classes are not covered.

Recipients must complete the coaching; early withdrawal without valid reason mandates refund of the scholarship

APPLICATION PROCESS & DEADLINE

Applications are to be submitted online via the official link before 11:59 PM on July 16, 2025

The scholarship form (Form A) must be attested by the Tibetan Settlement Officer, along with additional required documents.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • Completed Form A (settlement officer attested).
  • Class XII marksheet showing PCB scores.
  • Tibetan language certificate or TLPT results.
  • Passport-size photograph.
  • Optional: Best Boy/Best Girl or School Captain certificates

SELECTION PROCESS

Top 20 candidates are selected based on DoE’s scoring criteria, with priority to Class XII graduates of 2025
