DGFT Summer Internship Program 2025 Applications Open

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has announced the Foreign Internship Programme 2025, an enriching opportunity for Indian nationals holding a graduation degree. This internship is designed to provide young professionals and students with a deep understanding of the formulation and execution of foreign trade policies in India. The programme aims to bridge theoretical learning with practical exposure by engaging interns at both macro and micro policy implementation levels within the DGFT.

The internship, scheduled to run for two months (June to July 2025), invites applications till 26^th April 2025. Interns will be based in DGFT offices and gain firsthand experience of working within a key trade policy-making body.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To apply, candidates must:

• Be Indian nationals residing in India or pursuing studies abroad.
• Possess an excellent academic record.
• Hold a graduation degree in disciplines such as Public Policy, Economics, Finance, Management, or Law with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Have graduated from National Law Schools, Central Universities, AICTE-recognised Institutions, renowned management institutes, or foreign universities of excellence.

STIPEND AND CERTIFICATION

Selected candidates will be offered:

• A token remuneration of ₹10,000 per month.
• A certificate of completion, subject to submission and evaluation of a report or paper on their assigned topic during the internship period.
