The Delhi Government has officially opened registrations for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2025) under the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission, a flagship initiative to provide free, high-quality coaching to government school students for top national-level competitive entrance exams. According to a circular issued by the Directorate of Education (DoE), the CET-2025 entrance tests will be conducted between October 12 and October 26, 2025, at various government schools across Delhi.
This pioneering Delhi government scheme aims to empower students from Classes 11 and 12 by preparing them for exams such as JEE (Main/Advanced), NEET, CLAT, CA Foundation, and CUET (UG). By collaborating with empanelled coaching institutes, the government will provide comprehensive support including course fees, study materials, mock test papers, and counselling sessions — all free of cost.
Under the Vidya Shakti Mission, a total of 2,200 seats have been earmarked for various competitive exams. Of these, 50 seats for girls have been reserved in each of the JEE, NEET, CLAT, and CA Foundation courses, ensuring greater gender inclusion in competitive exam preparation. For CUET (UG) coaching, 1,000 seats are available, with 150 reserved for girls, reflecting the government’s commitment to equal educational opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students from Class 11 can apply for JEE, NEET, CLAT, and CA Foundation coaching.
- Students from Class 12 in all streams are eligible for CUET (UG) coaching.
- Students can register for only one course and cannot change their course after registration.
Registration Process and Key Dates:
The registration window is open from September 11 to September 30, 2025. Students interested in applying must complete their online registration within this period. Admit cards for CET-2025 will be available two days before the exam, while roll numbers and examination centres will be allotted five days before the scheduled exam dates.
Once the results are declared, selected students will be invited for counselling sessions where they can select their preferred empanelled coaching institute. This transparent system ensures that students have access to quality coaching providers aligned with their academic goals.
Benefits of the Scheme:
This initiative is a major boost for Delhi government school students aspiring to crack prestigious national entrance exams. With free coaching, expert faculty, study resources, and structured mentoring, the program removes financial barriers and levels the playing field for talented students from underprivileged backgrounds.
By providing structured preparation for exams like JEE 2025, NEET 2025, CLAT 2025, CA Foundation 2025, and CUET 2025, the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission reflects the Delhi Government’s long-term vision for educational excellence, for more details CLICK HERE
