CSIR-UGC NET 2025 Provisional Answer Key Released; Objection Window Open Till August 3

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2025 session. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key and their individual response sheets through the official portal —

The CSIR NET June 2025 examination was conducted on July 28 for a total of 1,95,241 candidates across the country. The test determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), assistant professor posts, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.

Alongside the answer key, the NTA has also activated the challenge window, allowing candidates to raise objections to the provisional key. The last date to submit objections is August 3, 2025. To challenge any question, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question.

Steps to Challenge CSIR-UGC NET 2025 Answer Key:

1. Visit the official portal
2. Click on the ‘Challenge Answer Key’ link
3. Log in using your application number, date of birth, and security pin
4. Click on ‘View Answer Sheet’ to check your marked responses
5. To raise objections, click the ‘Challenge’ button
6. Enter the question ID and select the correct answer according to your knowledge
7. Upload supporting documents or references
8. Use the ‘Modify Claim’ option if changes are needed before submission
9. Make the payment of ₹200 per question to complete the process

Candidates are advised to thoroughly review their responses and compare them with the answer key before submitting any objections. Supporting documents must be credible and relevant to the question challenged.

Once the objection window closes, a panel of subject experts will review all claims. If any discrepancies are found to be valid, the NTA will revise the answer key accordingly and release the final answer key along with the CSIR NET 2025 results in due course.
