Coventry University invites applications for its prestigious Sports Scholarships 2025, designed to support outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students who have demonstrated excellence in sports at the national or international level. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the Coventry University Sports Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Show proven excellence in their sport at either national or international level.
- Be actively competing in a recognized sport that falls under BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport), Olympic, or Paralympic categories.
- Be willing and able to represent Coventry University in their respective sport throughout their academic journey.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome to apply, provided they meet the eligibility standards.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Successful applicants will receive annual financial support based on their level of athletic performance:
- Level 1: National-level athletes will receive £1,500 (approx. ₹1,76,683).
- Level 2: International-level athletes will be awarded £3,000 (approx. ₹3,53,413).
The scholarship is split into two key components:
50% Direct Financial Support – to aid tuition fees, travel, equipment, and competition expenses.
50% Non-Financial Support – includes a customized package of services such as: Pre-season screening, Physiotherapy sessions, Sports psychology consultations, Nutritional guidance, Strength and conditioning programs, Performance analysis, Mentoring support, Performance workshops
This holistic approach ensures that scholars receive comprehensive assistance to balance their academic and athletic pursuits.
