The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has officially announced the schedule for the second board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 for the academic year 2025. As per the notification, the exams will commence from July 8, 2025, with Class 10 examinations being conducted from 9th to 21st July 2025, while Class 12 exams will be held from 8th to 22nd July 2025.

Students can now access the detailed CGBSE second board exam 2025 time table on the official website of the board. The exams will be conducted in the morning session, starting from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM. According to the board’s guidelines, students are expected to take their seats in the examination hall by 9:00 AM. The answer sheets will be distributed at 9:05 AM, followed by the distribution of question papers at 9:10 AM. The examination will officially begin at 9:15 AM.

CGBSE has also issued a set of important instructions for the candidates appearing for these exams. Notably:

  • Practical and project examinations for self-study students will be conducted at their respective exam centres. These may also be held on holidays if needed, and students are advised to stay in contact with the centre head for updates.
  • The examinations will strictly follow the prescribed syllabus for Class 12, and students should prepare accordingly.
  • In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the board reserves the right to modify the examination dates or timings without prior notice.

  • Even if a public or local holiday is declared during the examination period, the exams will proceed as scheduled without any changes.
