CBSE permits to offer Maths in Class XI to the students who offered Maths Basic in Class X

As per the circular released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) the permission to offer Mathematics (041) in Class XI to the students who offered Mathematics Basic (241) in Class X has been given

As per the Circular issued in 2019 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Students of Class X who have studied Mathematics standard (041) can offer mathematics (041) in Class XI, While for the students who offered Mathematics basic (241) in Class X are allowed to offer only applied mathematics in Class XI, for the session 2023 – 24 this rule has again been relaxed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) ,

According to it the students are offer Mathematics (041) in Class XI to the students who offered Mathematics Basic (241) in Class X, 

However as per the new circular issued by CBSE Head of the Institution are informed before permitting Mathematics in Class XI to such students, they look into that the  students opting Mathematics in Class XI are having the aptitude and ability to pursue Mathematics in Class XI

It is being stated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that the exemption is given as a special measure to facilitate the 2023 – 24 batch, However the CBSE clarified that from the session 2024 – 24 the circular issued in 2019 will be applicable, for more details CLICK HERE
