CBSE Declares Class 10 Supplementary Results 2025: 48.68% Students Pass

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Results 2025 today, August 5. Students who appeared for the supplementary examination can now access their results on the official CBSE portal

This year, 1,43,648 students registered for the CBSE 10th supplementary exams. Of these, 1,38,898 students appeared, and 67,620 candidates successfully qualified, bringing the overall pass percentage to 48.68%. These supplementary exams offer students who did not clear one or more subjects in the main board exam an opportunity to improve their scores and continue their academic progress without losing a year.

In terms of gender-wise performance, girls once again outshone boys. The pass percentage for girls stood at 51.04%, while 47.41% boys managed to qualify, marking a 3.63 percentage point lead in favour of girls.

The CBSE 10th supplementary exams 2025 were conducted from July 15 to July 22 across 15,495 schools and 970 exam centres across the country, ensuring that students from all regions had access to exam facilities.

To view their results, students will need to provide essential credentials including their roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and a security pin.

CBSE has also released the schedule for post-result services. Students wishing to obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets can apply between August 8 and 9, 2025. The window for verification of marks and re-evaluation requests will be open from August 18 to 19, 2025.

The supplementary exam and result declaration are part of CBSE’s efforts to provide students with a fair chance at academic success. With nearly half of the candidates passing the exam, many students will now be eligible to move forward with their education in higher classes.

Students are advised to download and save a copy of their online mark sheet for reference and follow up on official CBSE notifications for further updates regarding re-evaluation and admissions, for more details and check results CLICK HERE
