APAAR ID Mandatory for CBSE Registration 2026
This year, CBSE has introduced the linking of APAAR ID for both Class 9 and Class 11 registrations in schools across India. This move is aimed at strengthening the digital student identity system and streamlining the data management process for the board exams.
Data Verification and Correction Window
Once the registration deadline ends, schools will receive a data verification slip for each student. In case of discrepancies in a candidate’s details such as name, date of birth, or subjects offered, corrections can be made between November 14 and November 28, 2025. After this period, no changes will be allowed by CBSE.
Registration Slips and LOC
CBSE will provide registration slips to schools after the process concludes, which must then be distributed to students for safekeeping. These slips will be essential during the List of Candidates (LOC) submission stage.
Key Instructions for Schools
The Board has reiterated that schools must ensure complete accuracy in student data before submission. Incorrect or incomplete data may result in students being unable to appear for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2026, for more details CLICK HERE
