CBSE asks schools to participate in Vidyanjali Program

The Vidyanjali initiative is launched by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India with an aim to strengthen the schools through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), community and private sector involvement across the country, 

Vidyanjali programme is being implemented by Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, It is a programme where any citizen of India, PIO or Organization registered in India can directly connect with Government and Government aided schools and contribute in the form of Assets, Material, Equipment, Services, Activities, etc

The aim of Vidyanjali programme is to act as facilitator by connecting the contributors directly to the school. The effort of this programme is to bridge knowledge, skill and the human resources gap in the schools by tapping the potential available in various fields outside the Government.

Under the Vidyanjali programme the Department of School Education & Literacy has introduced a mentor/ mentee initiative, The Vidyanjali programme initiative enables the schools to be a mentor or mentee of other schools by contributing through hand holding in academic and assets, materials, equipment related activities,

The date and timing of the activity may be agreed upon between the participating schools, as it is purely voluntary in nature
