BPCL Sports Scholarship Scheme 2025 Applications Now Open

The BPCL Sports Scholarship Scheme 2025 by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is a valuable initiative designed to support India’s emerging sportspersons. Aimed at encouraging youth with the potential to achieve excellence in sports, this scheme offers financial aid along with other vital resources to help athletes pursue their dreams at national and international levels.

This scholarship is open to Indian citizens between the ages of 13 and 25. Applicants must not be availing any other sports scholarship from any source. However, for Chess, the minimum eligible age is 10 years. The applicant’s age will be calculated as of 1st April 2025.

BPCL CATEGORIZES THE SCHOLARSHIP INTO THREE TIERS

1. Budding Athlete Engagement – For those aged 13 to 17 years
2. Junior Athlete Engagement – For athletes aged 17 to 21 years
3. Elite Athlete Engagement – For candidates aged 21 to 25 years

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend, sports kits, and tournament expenses reimbursement up to a specified limit. This well-rounded support is intended to reduce financial burdens and allow young sportspersons to focus on training and performance.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• A recent photograph of the applicant
• Proof of date of birth
• Marksheets or certificates of last educational qualification
• Bonafide certificate from the applicant’s current educational or training institute

APPLICATION PROCESS & DEADLINE

Applicants are required to submit all necessary documents and details before the application deadline of 16th April 2025.
